TERMS & CONDITIONS

The ‘Client’ means the person signing the booking form to hire the equipment’  

‘Peaches’ means Peaches Event & Party Hire

BOOKING

To secure the party date and booking, a non-refundable deposit and completion of the booking form are necessary. The deposit amount varies based on the service chosen. Once a party is booked, Peaches will reserve the date for 24 hours. Please note that Peaches may reallocate the date if the deposit is not received within this timeframe.
​The damage deposit and remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the party date. Failure to do meet these requirements will result in the cancellation of the party booking and a breach in the Terms & Conditions (see Cancellation Policy).
The damage deposit can be refunded after the equipment is returned, inspected for any damage, and thoroughly tested (within 48 hours after the event).
If Peaches has been asked to provide additional Equipment on the day. The extra payment agreed should be paid to Peaches on the day of the Event.
Additional travel charges will apply for locations beyond 5 miles radius of Driffield, East Yorkshire.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CLIENT

The client is responsible for using Peach's rental equipment safely. Children must be supervised at all times around large and heavy backdrops along with electrical equipment, items that pose a strangulation risk such as bunting and string lights and also open flame candles if used.
The client must verify the accuracy of the information provided to Peaches and relay it promptly to execute the contract safely and without any risks. This should be done within 14 days of the event to prevent any last-minute setbacks.
The client needs to provide information on the property type, parking details, and access availability when booking the party. If access is restricted or challenging, Peaches will decide whether to accept the booking.
The Client must ensure there is a suitable place for the use of the large lean to mirror where it can be secure safely. If unsure of where it can be placed safely Peaches will be happy to arrange a site check with client to discuss options.
The Client must ensure that the Event venue is able to provide a safe source of power and a safe area in which to put the Equipment.
The Client should ensure these requirements are investigated prior to the confirmation of any booking with Peaches and any relevant information disclosed to Peaches before the supply of the Equipment.
Furthermore, it is also the responsibility of the Client to ensure that Peaches are provided with free parking facilities at the Event venue for vehicles associated with Peaches to unload and load the Equipment. Should no free parking be available the Client is liable for any parking charges incurred and payment will be made to Peaches on the day of the Event.
Unless given express permission by Peaches, equipment hired is not available for use by any other persons/company before, during or after the Event.
The Client, the Client’s guests or third parties must not move or pack up the Equipment. Peaches will not be held liable or responsible for any accidents or damages resulting from the client's assistance in carrying our equipment. Any damage caused to the Equipment or persons, by the Client, the Client’s guests or third parties moving the Equipment, will be the sole liability of the Client.
The client must ensure there is enough space for the equipment. If the space is insufficient for setting up the equipment, we will not provide a full or partial refund of the payment made.
​Peaches will not be held liable if, upon arrival, it is discovered that the Client lacks the required permissions or permits to hire our goods and services, resulting in the cancellation of the booking. Please note that no refunds will be provided if your booking is cancelled due to issues such as challenging access, permit requirements, or undisclosed permissions at the time of booking.

DAMAGE

Peaches will ensure they provide clean and presentable equipment. Items should be returned in the same condition.​
The client is accountable for any damage or injury resulting from improper, reckless, or misuse of any equipment supplied by Peaches.
The client is responsible for ensuring that children are supervised at all times around equipment owned by Peaches. All costs of any damage caused by violation of this clause will fall to the client.  
Peaches will not be liable for any damages, costs, losses, claims, or expenses, including those related to the client's property or guests, as well as any consequential losses.
Any damage or loss of the Equipment could result in the loss of Client’s Deposit, additional charges, future hire privileges/bookings and if necessary legal action.
Strictly no smoking is permitted near the equipment. 
 

CANCELLATIONS

The Client may cancel this Contract within fourteen (14) days from the booking confirmation and receive a refund of the full Deposit, solely on the condition that no services and/or Equipment have been provided to the Client. If services and/or Equipment have been provided during the fourteen (14) day cooling off period then the costs of providing those services and/or Equipment will be charged to the Client in full.
Cancellation of the party beyond the fourteen (14) day cooling off period will forfeit the deposit paid. If cancelled in less than 7 days prior to event, the Client is responsible for paying the remaining balance of the party. In unavoidable circumstances and only at the discretion of Peaches, may the deposit be returned to the client and null balance payment required.
Peaches reserve the right to cancel the booking at any time for any reason. Peaches will give as much notice as possible if there is a need to cancel a booking. In this instance Peaches will reimburse the Client any funds paid to Peaches for the booking. Peaches will not be responsible for compensating the Client or any other individual for any losses, damages, or expenses resulting directly or indirectly from the cancellation.
Peaches reserves the right to terminate the booking without notice if there is a breach of these conditions. 

CHANGES

Peaches retains the authority to implement any necessary changes to the services without prior notice to the client. If the service provided is less than initially requested, refunds will be issued to the client accordingly.
Peaches will do their best to set up the Equipment at Client’s suggested place. However, if Peaches (at its sole discretion), feels this is unsafe for the Client, guests or third parties or the Equipment, Peaches will make a decision to place them at a safer point.
Peaches may adjust services, set-up, and collection times as needed.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Anyone using Peaches equipment assumes their own risk, and the party hirer holds responsibility for any damage or injury resulting from inappropriate, reckless, or misuse. Peaches cannot be held liable for any reactions or injuries sustained during or after a party.
This information is provided to ensure the safety of all attendees at the event in which Peaches has been hired for. It is the Client's sole responsibility to ensure that all party guests understand and comply with these guidelines.

DATA & INSURANCES

Peaches has public liability insurance and prioritizes guest safety at all times, offering certification if needed.
Peaches will handle all data in compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, incorporating the new GDPR regulations. No information included in the booking form will be disclosed to any third party.
